Responsibilities
  • Support operational teams to ensure they are skilled and knowledgeable in meeting client deadlines, working with Management to provide the best service by delivering functional and technical expertise to a selection of clients.
  • Support Managers with client engagement, ensuring all information is accurate and provided on time.
  • Provide support and guidance for all implementations and go-lives.
  • Provide daily functional support to the teams to support successful payroll delivery.
  • Maintain the Client Solution workbook.
  • Update, maintain, and enforce process documentation such as DWIs.
  • Ensure and sign off system maintenance testing.
  • Review the Statement of Works before sharing with the client to ensure its suitability.
  • Resolve technical/functional issues escalated from the team, report system issues/defects with proper details and evidence for investigation.
  • Collaborate with Operational Management, Transformation, and Products to implement automation, innovation, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Manage legislation roadmap updates and upskill the team in upcoming changes.
  • Support Year-End processes.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Identify upsell opportunities proactively.
  • Assist Management with resolving client escalations and lessons learned.
  • Upskill and develop team members through training and coaching.
  • Complete time recording accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to team meetings and escalate issues promptly.
  • Build relationships across business lines as appropriate.
  • Participate in projects and activities as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll inputs and outputs, including third-party interfaces, tax compliance, benefits, etc.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to support a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, following processes and procedures.
Education and Training
  • BA/BS in Business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years relevant payroll experience in HR consulting, outsourcing, or corporate settings.
  • Expertise in payroll processes, practices, and legislation.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
  • Payroll certifications.
