This on-site/hybrid role processes payroll for multiple business units, maintains tax and benefits records, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

The position reports to the Corporate payroll function and supports inquiries from HR and finance teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll, familiarity with Workday, and a Bachelor’s

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience.
• 2+ years in an accounting-related function is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• FPC or CPP preferred.
• Strong Excel and payroll/HRIS proficiency.
• Ability to stay current on multi-state payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees in assigned units and corporate in compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll reports for internal/external groups.
• File and maintain employee payroll records and respond to inquiries from employees and managers.
• Investigate discrepancies in payroll data and coordinate with HR/Finance to ensure accuracy.
• Create and analyze payroll reports for management and identify trends or issues; escalate errors with recommendations.
