Ellsworth Corporation, a global distributor and manufacturer, seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll and related compliance for multiple business units. The role reports to our corporate HQ in Germantown, WI, and offers an on-site/hybrid work arrangement.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in payroll, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Workday and payroll/HRIS systems. CPP/FPC certifications are preferred to support multi-state payroll requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required or equivalent
• 3+ years in payroll function
• 2+ years in accounting-related function a plus
• FPC or CPP certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Excel and payroll/HRIS software

Responsabilités

• Process payroll for all employees in assigned units and corporate in accordance with regulations and accounting principles
• Prepare, review and reconcile payroll reports for internal and external groups
• File and maintain employee payroll records
• Respond to inquiries from employees, managers, and other departments on payroll and timekeeping issues
• Investigate discrepancies in payroll data and coordinate with other departments for accuracy
• Create and analyze payroll reports to identify trends and issues for management
• Report errors in payroll accounting with recommendations
