Job summary

Ellsworth Adhesives seeks an HRIS Manager to lead Workday governance and day‑to‑day system performance at our Germantown, WI HQ. This on‑site/hybrid role requires collaboration with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to ensure data integrity and compliant controls.

You will own governance, security, reporting, testing, and training of HR technology, delivering analytics and dashboards to support strategic decision making. This is a hands‑on leadership position in a family‑run global distributor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/IS/Business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in Workday governance, maintenance, and optimization.
• Experience leading HRIS governance and security administration.
• Strong analytics, reporting, and dashboard development skills.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and training.

Responsibilities

• Owns Workday governance and the operational roadmap, chairing the governance group for enhancements and release readiness.
• Reviews and approves configuration across all modules; enforces data security and business process standards.
• Manages security roles, audits, remediation documentation and processes.
• Develops and governs dashboards, analytics, and reporting strategy; oversees complex calculated fields.
• Develops and manages testing strategy including UAT, regression cycles, releases, patches, upgrades, and HR cycle readiness.
• Oversees ticket triage and escalation; manages complex support.
• Directs integration governance, vendor escalation, and third parties.
• Owns data integrity program with audits and alignment to SOX and internal controls.
• Accountable for training content, process documentation, and end-user training delivery quality.
• Stays informed about trends in information systems training through Workday Community to enhance HR knowledge.
• Leads cross-functional alignment and requirements intake with HR COEs, Finance, Payroll, and IT.
