Baxter Shared Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage multi-location payroll with high accuracy and privacy. You will serve as a trusted resource to employees, managers, and dealership leadership, answering inquiries and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Must maintain confidentiality and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely and accurate payroll data entry and maintenance within Paylocity, including employee changes and timekeeping adjustments.
• Provides exceptional customer service and support to employees, managers, and dealership leadership regarding payroll inquiries, pay plans, commissions, and other payroll-related matters.
• Administers employee garnishments in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Processes manual checks, stop payments, voids, direct deposit reversals, and retroactive pay adjustments.
• Performs payroll audits and reviews to identify errors and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Reviews time and attendance records and resolves discrepancies with managers and controllers.
• Collaborates with dealership leadership on payroll-related requests and compensation matters.
• Maintains payroll records and supports HR with benefits administration and new hire processing.
• Identifies payroll process improvements and escalates risks where appropriate.
