Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll professional to ensure accurate client payroll processing and maintain confidentiality of employee data. You will support ad hoc reporting, client communications, and software training as needed.

Responsibilities include implementing payroll for new clients, maintaining records, and expanding services through consultative client interaction. Strong Excel/Outlook skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines, including updating employee records, calculating/paying bonuses or severance, and reconciling payroll deposits.
• Establish strong client relationships by effectively consulting with clients on payroll matters and maintain data confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify opportunities to expand services to clients.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team and manage new client implementation projects with timely completion.
• Train clients on payroll processes as necessary.
