Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Associate to provide direct payroll support and consulting to our clients. You will understand payroll in depth and maintain knowledge of payroll practices and laws so you can deliver accurate service.

Under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, you will manage client relationships, escalate issues when needed, and contribute to timely payroll processing, reporting and compliance. Strong attention to detail and ADP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct payroll support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Understand payroll in depth and maintain knowledge of payroll practices and laws.
• Independently manage client relationships, escalating issues when needed.
• Establish strong and trusted client relationships by consulting on payroll matters.
• Manage client implementations to ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
