Job summary

Reeves Young LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. The role uses ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint Vista to manage hours, earnings, and deductions in a multi-state construction context.

The successful candidate will review timecards, maintain compliance with wage regulations, and partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure precise payroll data and reporting. This is an on-site role in Sugar Hill, GA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in construction payroll.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint Vista is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage-hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint Vista.
• Review timecards for accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Enter payroll data, including hours and earnings, into systems and run reports.
• Assist with OCIP reporting and other payroll-related reporting as needed.
• Ensure timely payroll processing while meeting all deadlines.
• Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Operations to ensure data accuracy.

What Can You Expect

• The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint.
• This position reviews employee timecards, enters payroll data into multiple systems, verifies payroll accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
• The Payroll Specialist also supports payroll reporting, including Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) reporting, while providing excellent customer service to employees and management.
• Review employee timecards for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Audit time entries to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
• Enter payroll information into ADP Workforce Now, including hours, earnings, allowances, and other payroll transactions.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing while ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Partner with Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations to ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.

What You Bring to the Table

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience; construction payroll experience preferred, with strong experience in certified payroll, prevailing wage, and multi-state payroll.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
