Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees using ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint Vista. The role supports OCIP reporting and requires collaboration with HR, Accounting, and Operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in construction, with knowledge of multi-state payroll and wage laws. This on-site position offers full benefits and a strong team culture in Sugar Hill, GA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience, construction payroll preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize deadlines.

Responsibilities

• The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees using ADP Workforce Now and Viewpoint.
• This position reviews employee timecards for accuracy, enters payroll data into multiple systems, verifies payroll accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
• The Payroll Specialist also supports payroll reporting, including OCIP reporting, while providing excellent customer service to employees and management.
• Review employee timecards for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Audit time entries to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
• Enter payroll information into ADP Workforce Now, including hours, earnings, allowances, and other payroll transactions.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing while ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Partner with Human Resources, Accounting, and Operations to ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.

What You Bring to the Table

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience; construction payroll experience preferred, with strong experience in certified payroll, prevailing wage, and multi-state payroll.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
