Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to partner with the Payroll Manager and support payroll and HR operations across the United States and Canada.

You’ll ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance while assisting employees and the HR team to deliver an exceptional employee experience. You’ll bring 3–5 years of payroll experience, familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, and strong Excel and office software skills.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred not required.
  • Working knowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Process multi-country payrolls for the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
  • Administer time and attendance and maintain employee records within ADP Workforce Now (HRIS).
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, wage, and employment regulations.
  • Process payroll imports, garnishments, tax documents, unemployment notices, and payroll adjustments.
  • Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, and month-end payroll support documentation.
  • Support onboarding by processing new hire documentation.
  • Administer the Corporate Credit Card Program and Concur Expense Management.
  • Respond to employee payroll and HR inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assist with HR reporting, office administration, and other HR initiatives as needed.

Job description

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Payroll Manager while supporting a variety of payroll and HR operations across the United States & Canada. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining payroll accuracy, ensuring compliance, supporting employees, and helping our HR team deliver an exceptional employee experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Process multi-country payrolls for the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.Human Resources experience is a plus.
