Job summary

SKIL Resource Center is seeking a Payroll Specialist to provide payroll support for employers contracting with the Agency and assist the SKIL Fiscal Agent manager with payroll functions in the Agency’s system.

You will match time in the Authenticare System with approved Plan of Care hours, review hours for overlaps, and help Direct Support Workers with payroll questions by phone or in person at the Parsons office, ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear required background checks.
• Experience with payroll and familiarity with various computer programs.
• Strong customer service skills and detail-oriented with payroll functions.

Responsibilities

• Confirm time worked in the State’s Authenticare System has been approved according to the employer’s Plan of Care.
• Review hours worked by each Direct Support Worker verifying that hours worked do not overlap or go over the Plan of Care.
• Match hours in Authenticare System with hours showing in Agency’s computerized accounting system and work with SKIL Fiscal Agent manager in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist Direct Support Workers with questions by phone or in office.
• Send out reminders and notifications to employers and Direct Support Workers of information and changes the State makes with the various program waivers.
