Position Overview: Manage various payroll processes using Workday, Kronos, and other custom software for a large employer with nearly 750 locations across multiple states and Canada.

Primary Duties Include:

• Processing payroll in Workday, including data entry, auditing pay vs. pay plans, running reports, and reviewing retro adjustments.
• Handling on-cycle and off-cycle payments, including final paychecks.
• Responding to employee inquiries via Payroll Phone Queue, especially during peak times like paydays.
• Updating timeclock punches in Kronos.
• Performing special projects or tasks as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a large multi-location organization; knowledge of state/local taxes and garnishments is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills; experience with Workday is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills for interacting with employees.
• Ability to multitask, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• College education or some college coursework preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Pay range: $23 - $29 per hour
