Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Harristown, IL. This role is an excellent fit for a payroll, accounting, or administrative professional who enjoys accuracy-focused work, employee support, and working in a fast-paced corporate payroll environment.

The Payroll Specialist will support U.S. and Canadian payroll processing while helping employees and management resolve payroll-related questions. This position offers strong exposure to payroll operations, tax documentation, reconciliations, compliance, and cross-functional communication. Key Responsibilities

• Process U.S. and Canadian payroll accurately and within required deadlines.
• Troubleshoot payroll processing issues and provide timely support to employees and management.
• Complete payroll reconciliations, balancing activities, and payroll tax documentation, including Forms 941, W-2, T4, and related forms.
• Maintain secure and accurate payroll data in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $19 to $20 per hour.
• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
