If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a critical role in processing weekly payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple companies and states within our construction operations. You'll be responsible for the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete payroll posting activities and review payroll-related general ledger transactions for accuracy.
  • Process union payroll requirements, including wage rates, classifications, fringe benefits, dues, and other collectively bargained deductions.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and employee inquiries.
  • Support employee onboarding and maintain employee records within Arcoro and related HR systems.
  • Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and analytics.
  • Maintain confidential payroll and employee information with the highest level of integrity.
What Success Looks Like

In this role, you'll:

  • Consistently deliver accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage recurring payroll deadlines with confidence and precision.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
  • Build strong partnerships with employees, project teams, managers, Human Resources, Accounting, and external partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.
