Qualifications

• 2+ years of office support experience with data entry and internal customers.
• Prefer payroll experience or accounting functions; able to learn and execute.
• Strong understanding of computers; proficient with MS Suite.
• Excel experience with advanced functions (Xlookup, formulas).
• Experience with SAP or similar system preferred.
• Attention to detail with thorough task execution.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, transactional environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical mindset to compare data and solve problems.
• Ability to set goals, plan work, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payrolls (Mon evenings; Tue and Thu afternoons).
• Administer pay cards, reversals, and direct deposit issues; respond to stop payments.
• Handle off-cycle processing for severance, leave, and other payments.
• Validate direct deposit files with the bank.
• Create journal entries as needed.
• Field calls, emails, and tickets from field operations with payroll guidance.
• Deliver excellent internal and external customer service; convey urgency when needed.
• Follow established processes, procedures and controls.
• Collaborate with team members to improve payroll processes.
• Work a rotational schedule with occasional overtime.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
