STO Building Group in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and jurisdictions from an in-office role. You will manage a payroll team, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and uphold internal controls and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, union payroll, and payroll systems, with opportunities to automate processes and support audits. In-office position based in Sandy, UT.

Qualificações

• Progressive payroll experience with multi-entity operations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax rules.
• Supervisory or management experience in payroll.
• Experience with union, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reporting.
• Experience with payroll systems integrations and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, calendars, and deadlines.
• Maintain payroll controls and approval workflows.
• Escalate complex payroll issues and ensure resolution.
• Lead union payroll, certified payroll, and audits.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and project teams on payroll matters.
• Partner with Accounting on reconciliations and GL activity.
• Drive system improvements and automation in payroll.
