Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Operational Support Analyst to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for Industrial Parts team members. You will run payroll calculations, handle retroactive pay, and support audits while coordinating training and providing support to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities include processing payroll in Workday, reconciling multiple payroll cycles, and maintaining SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required.
• 3 to 5 years of payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable payroll system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and generate payroll through Workday.
• Audit, review, and reconcile weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Import and balance timekeeping and bonus files.
• Complete retroactive payments and audit variances.
• Assist with training and development of payroll team members.
• Maintain SOPs and implement new payroll procedures as needed.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and ServiceNow.
