Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Operational Support Analyst to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely resolution of complex payroll issues affecting Industrial Parts team members. The role involves running payroll calculations, performing retroactive pay calculations, and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• FPC or CPP designation preferred but not required.
• 3 to 5 years of payroll processing experience required.
• Experience with Workday or a comparable payroll system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and generate payroll through Workday.
• Audit, review, and reconcile weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Import and balance timekeeping and bonus files.
• Complete retroactive payments and audit variances.
• Review supporting documentation and backup for weekly audit reports.
• Assist with training and development of payroll team members and new hires.
• Document and maintain SOPs and implement new payroll procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
• Support the Payroll Manager with off-cycle payments, escalations, and audits.
• Prepare manual checks, balance deposits, and reconcile ACH.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and ServiceNow.
• Research and reconcile benefit provider activity with payroll withholdings.
• Manage expatriate payroll setup, wire transfers, and related inquiries.
• Record and report ACH payments and pay card transactions.
• Perform system testing and sign-off on configuration updates.
• Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
