Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Financial Analyst - Payroll to support payroll, tax, and accounting tasks. You will process payroll transactions, assist with month-end close, and reconcile bank activity.

The role requires 1-2 years in accounting and experience with Workday or similar systems, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced office environment in Texas.

Qualifications

• AS/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of tax and accounting processes.
• Workday, PeopleSoft and Excel (mid to expert).

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual checks and balance bank deposits; reconcile ACH debits/credits.
• Prepare insurance, vendor bills, retiree and Cobra billing statements, and postings.
• Prepare journal entries for banking transactions and month end close.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or Service Now; provide customer service.
• Assist with ad hoc reports and analyses for executive management.
• Audit paperwork to ensure compliance with policies.
