We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee multi-country payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee trust. The role requires experience in U.S. and Canadian payroll, proficiency in Rippling, and familiarity with international payroll via Employer of Record (EOR) partners.

You will lead payroll audits, support HR compliance, and communicate payroll details clearly to employees. This position impacts employee trust and financial accuracy both tactically and strategically.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for U.S., Canada, and Germany employees across multiple pay schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate UK and France payrolls with EOR partners.
• Serve as Rippling expert — managing workflows, audits, and reporting.
• Work with Benefits and People Ops to ensure correct deductions for benefits and retirement plans.
• Process payroll for all employee types, including complex pay structures.
• Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations and forecasts.
• Educate employees on payroll details in a clear manner.
• Conduct regular payroll audits for compliance.
• Support HR tasks like wage garnishments and pay equity reporting.
• Stay updated on legislation affecting payroll and advise accordingly.

Requirements

• Expertise in Rippling — processing, auditing, reporting.
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state U.S. payroll.
• Experience with Canadian payroll and exposure to German payroll.
• Experience working with EOR providers in UK and France.
• Understanding of benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for explaining payroll info to employees.
• Discretion and professionalism handling sensitive data.

What We Offer

Fully remote position based in Colorado, with a salary range of $75,000 to $100,000, plus benefits like health, dental, vision, retirement, and more. Salary may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
