Responsibilities

Seeking a results-driven Payroll Manager - Workforce Manager to lead Time Compare Testing (TCT) activities as we transition from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions). This role supports our WFM transformation by validating timekeeping accuracy, ensuring compliance with compensation policies, and confirming system configurations meet business needs. The ideal candidate brings deep workforce management expertise within complex healthcare environments and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced project settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead aspects of Time Compare Testing (TCT), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion aligned with project milestones.
  • Conduct variance analysis on timecard discrepancies related to UKG configurations, compensation rules, and policy shifts, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all testing activities meet service level expectations, enabling timely and accurate payroll processing and supporting financial close activities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Compensation, and IT teams to develop and enforce efficient, compliant processes, in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Use data and reporting tools to assess and improve performance against key metrics related to payroll, time reporting, and attendance management.
  • Support go-live readiness assessments and transition planning to ensure a seamless associate experience and business continuity.
  • Provide input into operational policies, offering recommendations for process improvement and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and resolve escalated or complex associate issues related to timekeeping, working with other process areas as needed.
  • Participate in design workshops, contributing to the development of end-to-end process flows and validating that business requirements are accurately captured in system design.
  • Support the development and training for end users and team members, promoting exceptional customer service across all WFM-related activities.
  • Track and report Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics and performance indicators to optimize process effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of workforce management or timekeeping experience within a complex healthcare environment.
  • Expertise in analyzing timecard and payroll variances, including interpreting compensation policies and configuration logic.
  • Proven track record leading testing, analysis, or system conversion efforts during ERP or WFM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting time, pay, and attendance in healthcare settings.
  • Willingness and availability to travel up to 25%-50% during testing cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kronos Workforce Central.
  • Background in Time Compare Testing (TCT) methodology or similar testing strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience using reporting tools and dashboards to drive operational insights and issue resolution.
