Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. You will manage records, verify timekeeping, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Collaborating with HR and Finance, you will provide responsive service to employees, handle year-end activities, and maintain confidentiality of payroll information while ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet payroll deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including salaried and hourly staff.
• Review and verify timecards, deductions, adjustments, and inputs for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in the payroll system.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with year-end activities, including W-2 preparation and tax filings.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on benefits, deductions, and changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
• Monitor changes to payroll legislation and communicate updates as appropriate.
• Process and upload employee changes (address, tax withholding, direct deposit, deductions).
• Support payroll audits and related projects as needed.
