Job summary

Spooky Nook Sports Inc. is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee the processing and reporting of payroll for the organization and related entities. This full-time role requires strong regulatory knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to partner with Finance and HR.

You will manage payroll systems (Paylocity, TipHaus, Clover), ensure timely processing, and support audits and policy development. Join a large indoor sports complex with extensive employee benefits and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Experience with payroll processing in medium to large organizations
• Strong knowledge of payroll administration, controls, and accounting best practices
• Familiar with timekeeping and payroll software (Paylocity, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll function ensuring compliance with federal/state/local regulations
• Oversee accurate, timely payroll processing including wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions
• Ensure garnishments and wage withholdings are properly applied
• Add tax jurisdictions into Paylocity and file quarterly
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to resolve payroll issues
• Prepare month-end payroll close and GL reconciliations
• Review and submit annual W-2s
• Serve as SME for payroll systems (Paylocity, Clover, etc.)
• Lead payroll training and provide reports and analytics to directors
• Oversee Payroll Specialist and ensure timely completion
• Assist with financial audits when needed
• Maintain SOPs and payroll policies
• Suggest process improvements to reduce risk
• Protect confidentiality of sensitive info
• Support HR and Accounting operations
• Complete other duties as assigned
