Job summary

Homebase is seeking a Project Lead to own the onboarding and implementation of Homebase Payroll for small businesses. You will coordinate data collection, customer training, and first payroll run, working with an Onboarding Implementation Specialist for technical tasks.

You will resolve regulatory questions, partner with Sales to unblock projects, and drive accurate, compliant implementations while maintaining Salesforce records. In-office collaboration is expected from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Implementation, Onboarding, Payroll, or PM at a SaaS company.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for data cleaning and reconciliation.
• Hands-on CRM experience, ideally Salesforce, with basic tech troubleshooting.
• Clear, confident communicator translating payroll concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll implementation from kickoff to first payroll.
• Collect and reconcile complex customer data and YTD records.
• Train customers on Homebase Payroll and onboarding processes.
• Resolve payroll questions by researching regulations and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with Sales to remove blockers and surface product feedback.
• Maintain clean Salesforce records throughout implementations.
• Collaborate in-office Monday through Thursday.
