Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers are seeking a Payroll Clerk to support the Finance office by handling payroll and human resources tasks. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, maintaining personnel files, and processing payroll data in the Paychex system.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong attention to detail with a high degree of confidentiality.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of related experience.
• Excellent attention to detail is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile operating and store accounts and maintain personnel files.
• Enter new hires, rate changes, and other HR/payroll data into Paychex.
• Process timecards, attendance, and paid absences; prepare payroll and manual checks as needed.
• Manage employee benefits data, deductions, and pension/remittance forms.
