Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage bi‑weekly payroll for the Del Oro and Golden State Divisions. You will process payroll using Ultipro, transmit files to processors, and maintain comprehensive timekeeping data in UTA while supporting HR and audit activities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and a track record of handling confidential payroll information with accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, accounting, finance, or HR; or an equivalent combination.
• Experience in payroll processing and using UltiPro software preferred.
• Proficiency with payroll/timekeeping software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Ultipro; provide related reporting.
• Transmit payroll data to third-party processors and maintain data files.
• Maintain employee timesheets in the UTA system; coordinate payroll data from Corps.
• Assist audits and prepare information for internal/external reviews.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and benefits administration as needed.
