Job summary

OMT-Veyhl USA Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Michigan to handle end-to-end payroll, timekeeping, and HR support activities. The role involves processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will manage tax filings, benefits, and deductions, while coordinating with Finance and HR to resolve discrepancies. Strong Excel skills and experience with UKG Ready are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and payroll experience.
• End-to-end payroll processing across multiple cycles.
• Knowledge of payroll tax filings and compliance.
• Experience with payroll systems and HR administration.
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely.
• Maintain payroll data including taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax filings and year-end reports.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance on payroll-related changes.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
