Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to handle day-to-day employee payroll issues, answer calls and emails from employees and supervisors, and resolve payroll concerns. The role requires organization, strong communication and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with Microsoft products.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with benefits including health, vision and dental insurance, a 401k with company match, tuition reimbursement, and paid

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Maintain helpdesk ticket system
• Review, respond and prioritize payroll issues
• Troubleshoot payroll issues
• Educate employees on correct procedures
• Respond timely to employee issues
• Maintain payroll files
• Assist in backing up co-workers in department
• Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head
• Other duties as assigned
• Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals
• Report to work as scheduled

We are hiring a Customer Service Specialist to be responsible for day-to-day employee payroll issues, answer internal and external calls/emails from employees and/or their supervisor to resolve payroll concerns, research issues and resolve problems. Candidates must be organized, have good communication and problem-solving skills, and be familiar with Microsoft products.
