Job summary

Benchmark Human Services-DE is seeking a supervisory professional to lead staff within our IDD and behavioral health programs. You will participate in team-based planning for each client’s ISP and PCP and contribute to direct care when needed.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to regulations, and proactive communication with stakeholders, along with scheduling medical appointments and ensuring documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required; Degree preferred.
• 5 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
• 7+ years supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and guides staff in accordance with state/federal regulations and policies.
• Participate with an interdisciplinary team to develop each client's ISP and PCP.
• Provide direct care to clients as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation.
• Facilitate repairs and maintenance of the consumer's homes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Participate in hiring and management of direct care staff.
• Schedule and assist clients with all medical appointments and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
