You will handle day-to-day payroll, year-end activities, W-2 reconciliation, audits, and journal entries while supporting the monthly close and vendor payments. Excellent Excel skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll experience with an enterprise HR/Payroll system.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Hands-on year-end processing and W-2 reconciliation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook.
• Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred.
• Experience with Timekeeping and Workforce Management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day payroll using Ceridian Dayforce and/or Oracle systems while protecting confidential information
• Calculate, verify, reconcile, and transmit payroll for each assigned business unit
• Run audit reports and provide them to appropriate HR and/or Finance team members
• Maintain accurate company and employee payroll records
• Prepare, balance, and distribute payroll and benefit funding requests and related vendor payments
• Prepare and maintain journal entries and reports to support the monthly financial close
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts
• Understand various tax calculations and regulations
• Review tax agency notices and coordinate their resolution
• Support internal and external audits and special projects as required
• Assist with acquisition integrations, business changes, and system upgrades
