IG US Holdings in Chicago, IL is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll and related activities using Paylocity. The role involves collecting data, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws while delivering strong employee service.

Responsibilities include processing biweekly payrolls, reconciling reports, and assisting with year-end tasks such as W-2s.

Qualifications

• One to three years of payroll, accounting, finance, or administrative experience.
• Experience using Paylocity or a similar payroll/HRIS system.
• Working understanding of payroll processing, payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits deductions.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and verify timekeeping records for payroll processing.
• Review timecards for completeness and accuracy and follow up as needed.
• Assist with processing biweekly or semi-monthly payrolls using Paylocity.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments as directed.
• Process changes including new hires, terminations, and tax elections.
• Verify deductions such as health insurance, retirement plans, and FSA/HSA deductions.
• Reconcile payroll registers and reports prior to submission.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and questions promptly.
• Maintain confidential payroll records in Paylocity and related systems.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to Accounting and Finance teams.
