Job summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to provide day-to-day payroll support in an office setting. You will process weekly payroll, ensure accuracy, and maintain payroll records in ADP Workforce Now.

The role requires ADP experience and strong attention to detail, with a Monday–Friday office schedule and a focus on compliance and timely reporting. Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of payroll experience, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–5 years of related payroll experience.
• ADP Workforce Now: Hands-on experience processing full-cycle payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including timecard approval, data entry, payroll previews and final submission, off-cycle and manual checks, and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and on-time payment.
• Run and review payroll reports in ADP Workforce Now, resolve discrepancies, and submit final payroll by deadlines.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, manual checks, voids, and final pay for separated employees.
• Maintain employee payroll records in ADP Workforce Now, including new hire setup, direct deposit, tax withholding, and PTO accruals.
• Generate and reconcile payroll reports (registers, deductions, 401(k), GL).
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end processes (W-2 review and tax reconciliations).
• Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
