Leading Entertainment Firm in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join on-site for a 6-month assignment. You will process payroll across multiple frequencies in a multi-state, unionized environment, using ADP Workforce Now.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, strong Excel/MS Office skills, and a solid understanding of payroll tax regulations. You will audit data, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely payroll reports while maintaining

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and data accuracy.
• Understanding of payroll tax regulations and the relationship between HR policies and payroll.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll across multiple pay frequencies.
• Audit and reconcile HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll integration files and bank files.
• Process employee garnishments and payroll adjustments accurately.
• Prepare payroll reports and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Maintain payroll confidentiality and support compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Client: Leading Entertainment Firm

Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404 (On-site)

Duration: 06 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)

Pay Rate: ($30 - $35) on an hourly basis

Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator with hands-on experience in AD P Work_force Now to manage accurate and timely payroll processing in a multi-state, unionized environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with AD P Work_force Now is required.
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and data accuracy.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Understanding of payroll tax regulations and the relationship between HR policies and payroll.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in the entertainment or media industry and familiarity with union payroll, wage-and-hour regulations, and SOX compliance.
