• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Basic knowledge of payroll accounting, wage and hour laws, and SOX compliance.
• Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between HR policies/programs and payroll.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel skills.
• Entertainment/media industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-frequency payrolls end to end in compliance with federal, state, local regulations and multi-state taxes.
• Audit and reconcile HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, and reconcile payroll integration and bank files.
• Provide timely and compliant responses to, and set up, employee garnishments.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with timely, accurate information, resolve discrepancies, and provide ad hoc reports to internal customers as required.
• Stay current on payroll-related regulations and support special projects as assigned.

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing within a large, multi-state, union environment.

Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Process multi-frequency payrolls end to end, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations, including multi-state taxation rules, as well as company policies.
• Audit and reconcile HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, and reconcile payroll integration and bank files.
• Provide timely and compliant responses to, and set up, employee garnishments.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with timely, accurate information, resolve discrepancies, and provide ad hoc reports to internal customers as required.
