You will audit payroll records, manage garnishments and employment verifications, and assist with audits and reconciliations. Maintaining confidentiality and providing timely responses to inquiries are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years payroll, accounting or HR experience preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity or another payroll/HRIS system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly payroll processing for union and non-union employees.
• Review timecards, job numbers, pay codes, union assignments, and other payroll data for accuracy.
• Audit and maintain employee payroll records for accuracy and compliance.
• Process wage garnishments, child support orders, levies, and employment verifications.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
• Assist with union payroll reporting and related audits.
• Respond to employee and manager payroll questions and research issues.
