Job summary

Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll for district staff. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, maintain records, and support deductions and benefit reporting.

You will review timesheets, administer enrollment, respond to staff inquiries, and assist with year-end processing and audits. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with regular payroll cycles and opportunities for

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Two years minimum payroll/accounting experience preferred; public education/government experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and accounting principles; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all district employees using USPS Redesign State Software.
  • Review timesheets, attendance records, and payroll inputs; balance to payroll system.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports; year-end processing including W-2s.
