Sedron Technologies is hiring a Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead end-to-end payroll and benefits for our manufacturing and salaried workforce. This role covers multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and open enrollment.

The position collaborates with the Director of People Operations and Accounting on wage and hour compliance, payroll taxes, and year-end reporting, with location flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration experience in a hybrid workforce.
• Experience with multi-state payroll, payroll taxes, and wage/deduction compliance.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Rippling or similar HRIS/payroll platforms.
• Knowledge of Washington L&I and regional payroll requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for hourly, shift-based, and salaried employees.
• Review timecards, resolve discrepancies, and manage payroll adjustments.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits for Canadian employees via EOR partner.
• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) programs.
• Lead annual open enrollment and benefits communications.
• Ensure payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s).
• Maintain payroll/benefits controls, processes, and documentation.
