Job summary

Sedron Technologies, LLC is hiring a Payroll & Benefits Manager to own end-to-end payroll and benefits operations for a diverse workforce across multiple states and Canada. The role collaborates with People Operations, accounting, and external advisors.

The position offers location flexibility with preference for candidates near Sedro-Woolley, WA; Bellingham, WA; or Chicago, IL, and travel to an office roughly quarterly for remote staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and EOR/Canada payroll is a plus.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll tax compliance tools.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing for hourly, shift-based, and salaried employees.
• Administer Canadian payroll via Sedron’s Employer of Record (EOR) partner.
• Oversee benefits administration and annual open enrollment.
• Ensure payroll tax notices and wage deduction compliance.
• Support payroll/year-end activities (W-2s, 1099s) and related reporting.
