Base pay range

About The Company

Our client is a global alternative investment firm employing a multi-manager model allocating capital across a broad array of independent teams with diverse strategies.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-monthly US and Puerto Rico payroll
• Coordinate with HR, benefits, and compensation in the collection and transmittal of key data to produce payroll
• Prepare audit reports and reconciliations to support the validation and finalization of payroll
• Work with the third-party vendor in the production of bi-monthly Canada payroll
• Prepare vendor data input forms, validate gross to net reports, and prepare audits and reconciliations
• Prepare integrations to/from third parties and reconcile to ensure accurate and timely transmission of data
• Process off-cycle termination and final payments as needed in compliance with state regulations
• Support new hire onboarding payroll tasks including auditing employee state/local set-up and answering employee inquiries
• Respond to employee inquiries for payroll related issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• 5-8 years of payroll experience with experience processing multi-state payroll
• Experience using Workday
• Technical knowledge of state and federal tax regulations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• High sense of urgency and ability to maintain confidentiality
