Base pay range

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all team members.
Manage and support the payroll team, providing training, guidance, and development.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Prepare and file necessary payroll-related tax filings.
Develop and document payroll policies and procedures.
Develop and implement reporting tools to streamline payroll processes.
Maintain a high level of customer service through timely resolution of escalated issues.
Assist with research and resolution of complex payroll related matters.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all payroll-related items.
Support the Payroll Director in managing multiple project deliverables on time.
Completes ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education & Experience Qualifications
High school diploma required
Undergraduate/Graduate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
Experience (3-5 years) in multi-state full cycle payroll with an emphasis on delivering cross-functional project management required
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred, but not required
Experience with Workday or comparable software required
