Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a Payroll Assistant on a full-time contract basis in the United States. The role supports payroll processing, maintains accurate compensation records, verifies timesheets, and ensures timely payments.

You will handle confidential information with discretion and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of payroll experience, strong numerical and organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel and payroll

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in payroll administration or related roles.
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll software.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review timesheets and attendance for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update payroll records and payment details.
• Verify payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation.
• Respond to employee pay inquiries and payroll calendars.
• Support benefits deductions and tax form administration.
• Ensure data protection and maintain policy compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with payroll audits and workflow improvements.
