Job summary

Sun Technologies in Irving, TX is seeking a Payroll Assistant 3 for up to 5 months to support accurate payroll processing and responsive customer service within SLAs. This contract role focuses on facilitating on-time payroll cycles and data validation.

Responsibilities include processing supplemental and out-of-cycle pay requests, answering inquiries from internal and external customers, and contributing to departmental goals through project tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent & 1 years of related education, i.e.: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll fundamentals and data validation practices.
• Proficiency in payroll/HR systems.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to meet SLAs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
• Accuracy, data integrity, and strong follow-through
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize recurring and urgent requests
• Discretion in handling confidential employee and payroll data
• Willing to work a Hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers within required SLAs.
• Perform assigned project duties to support system enhancements, process improvements, and departmental objectives.
• Processing and validating supplemental pay requests.
• Processing and validating out of cycle pay requests.
• Special processing for adjustments, or off-cycle items in alignment with policy and compliance requirements.
