Job summary

Heartland Restaurant Group is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Administrator to ensure accurate, on-time payroll for ~2,000 employees and to support AP functions. The role includes system integrations, reconciliations, audits, and policy improvements.

You will coordinate with HR, Accounting, and Operations to maintain employee records, process new hires, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions, while upholding confidentiality and compliance with wage-and-hour laws.

Qualifications

• At least three years of payroll processing experience.
• At least three years using an HRIS or payroll processing system.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, garnishments, and deductions.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle, multi-state, biweekly payroll for ~2,000 employees.
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices; handle payments and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour laws and year-end processing.
• Maintain payroll and vendor records; respond to inquiries professionally.
