Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team in a hybrid role based out of Gainesville, VA. The role processes bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state employee base with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will manage timesheet data, garnishments, deductions, and leave processing, while maintaining GAAP and FAR compliance and supporting ad-hoc reporting and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with full-cycle multi-state payroll processing.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting and tax withholding laws.
• Proficiency with Excel and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing for a multi-state employee base.
• Manage weekly timesheet collection and post labor distributions using Deltek Costpoint and Deltek T&E.
• Process off-cycle payrolls, pay adjustments, garnishments, and deductions with compliance.
• Reconcile payroll, leave accruals, and benefit disbursements (HSA, FSA, commuter benefits, WC premiums).
• Assist in generating SCA fringe statements and reconciliations.
• Maintain employee/subcontractor profiles in timekeeping/payroll systems; be payroll contact.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, and multi-state tax compliance; support ad-hoc reporting and year-end audits.
