The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years of payroll experience, with working knowledge of payroll software and general office applications.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in payroll techniques and practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and payroll software.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local payroll regulations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll processes and output for validity and accuracy per policies and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze data for reports on bi-weekly payroll data changes.
• Consult with management on time reporting, benefit balances, overtime, and different pay types.
• Develop and flowchart payroll processes; write requirements and test scripts; identify formulas.
