Job summary

Mobility Global is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support North America payroll processing, including time and attendance review, earnings, deductions, and off-cycle payments. You will analyze payroll data for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data, tax withholdings, and timely payroll funding.

• 4–8 years of payroll processing, payroll analysis, finance, accounting, or HR operations experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, wage and hour rules, tax withholdings, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, timekeeping, or workforce management systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, audit, and validate payroll data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Support end-to-end North America payroll processing, including time and attendance review, earnings, deductions, bonuses, adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and payroll-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, month-end files, tax-related data, and other payroll documentation.
• Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate employee data, benefit deductions, tax withholdings, and payroll funding.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Assist with payroll system testing, process improvements, automation initiatives, and implementation of payroll-related changes.
• Monitor payroll compliance requirements and identify trends, risks, or recurring errors in payroll data, recommending corrective actions or process enhancements.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• 4-8 years of payroll processing, payroll analysis, finance, accounting, or HR operations experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, wage and hour rules, tax withholdings, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, timekeeping, or workforce management systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday or similar payroll/HRIS platforms.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across HR, Finance, and business teams.
• Continuous improvement orientation with a focus on efficiency, controls, and service quality.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
