Job description

Our client, a global media company, is looking for a temporary Payroll Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Midtown. The successful candidate will have payroll processing experience within a large corporation, knowledge of union payroll processing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

• Contract Role: 8 months (budgeted until year‑end)
• Pay: $45‑49/hr on W2 (NO C2C)
• Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9AM to 6PM

Responsibilities

• End‑to‑end processing of multi‑frequency union and non‑union payrolls
• Perform payroll adjustments in SAP
• Reconcile and audit HR and payroll data
• Set up employee garnishments
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolving discrepancies
• Provide support for periodic tax updates

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi‑state payroll processing experience
• Experience working in the entertainment industry with knowledge of union/guild payroll processing a plus
• Microsoft Excel expertise (pivot tables, formulas, queries, etc.)
• SAP EC Payroll is desired, open to any large ERP experience (Oracle, Workday, ADP, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and communication skills
