Job summary

Sertoma Star Services is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage the timely and accurate processing of employee payroll and timekeeping information. The role supports employees and supervisors, implements payroll system updates, and prepares required payroll reports and regulatory filings.

You will handle confidential payroll data, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with supervisors across the organization in South Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required with at least two years of direct payroll processing experience.
• General knowledge of basic accounting, including journal entries.
• Prior experience with payroll, time and attendance, and accounting systems software.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
• Review time and attendance for accuracy and proper compensation.
• Transfer approved timekeeping data into Paycor for payroll processing.
• Prepare payroll reports and regulatory filings.
