The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Charlotte, NC to handle bi-weekly and weekly payroll for 500+ employees using Workday. You will ensure timely, accurate processing and assist staff with pay-related questions and changes.

Requirements include an Associate degree in accounting or related field and 5+ years of experience, strong customer service, and proficiency in MS Office and payroll software. This role offers growth and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting or related field with minimum 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with or able to quickly learn payroll software (Workday).

Responsibilities

• Weekly processing of bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using Workday.
• Enter, maintain, and process payroll information (rates, hours, deductions, etc.).
• Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, etc.
• Issue or reissue checks or direct deposits as needed.
• Reconcile payroll-related tax deposits and prepare analyses/reports.
• Coordinate with HR and respond to payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
