Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring an Administrative Assistant (Payroll) to perform payroll processing and general accounting support for the GM and Operations staff. This on-site role is based in Tracy, CA and offers starting pay of $26.00 per hour, paid training, yearly increases, and a referral bonus program.

You will manage payroll data, maintain time/attendance records, prepare correspondence, and support the team with confidential information while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access) and willingness to learn.
• Reliable attendance and ability to adapt to various requests.

Responsibilities

• General payroll entry, time/attendance, and payroll processing.
• Daily entry of payroll information in software and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll template to ensure accurate hours paid.
• Copy/scan documents and handle general correspondence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
